Beauty School Drop Out

If it's pink, I'll buy it. Don't worry ladies, I am here now and we can all openly admit we can't get enough of pink. The colour. I don't know why I'm immediately assuming everyone else had the breakup with pink when they turned 13 and became an official 'woman' but me, 13 year old Shauna Cook, in the midst of puberty and finding myself,  I lost my way. I tried hippy/boho/random weirdo that wore bright yellow headbands, emo (?!), and I even went as far as trying out that cool 'I don't really give a fuck about fashion, I just wanna smoke weed (I don't even smoke weed) and listen to Kendrick Lamar' stage. Yeah Kendrick Lamar is still pretty badass but lets just say I don't look back to the time I lived in 'Dope Chef' (literally cringing) oversized sweaters, short shorts, nike blazers & my green parka and think, "wow I had such great style!"

It was only a matter of time until I admitted I miss pink. No it's not tacky, it's not 'girly' and it should not be worn as 'a little pop of colour.' It's good to have you back....

Here's a few photos of my beautiful new duster coat, paired with a plum pink pair of skater shoes from Next, that infamous Topshop button up skirt that everyone seems to have and a striped tee from River Island. My hair may not be pink but I'm feeling totally Frenchie.
